    Rick Chancellor directs sourcing of development opportunities, project design and leasing efforts at Cardiff Development Partners.

    With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Rick has a wide range of skills and background. He has represented landlords on many different types of retail properties, consulting on project conceptualization, design and merchandising, along with executing effective leasing programs. Rick has an extensive background evolving and expanding retail and restaurant brands as a principal and tenant representative, both in-house and as an exclusive broker. This has helped foster his unique perspective and creativity to put together the right site with the right tenant, following a disciplined approach to create successful results.

    Prior to joining Cardiff in 2016, Rick was Vice President, Western Region for The McDevitt Company, a global real estate company representing tenants and landlords in high streets, shopping districts, lifestyle centers, mixed-use projects and regional malls. His work included developing and implementing growth strategies for a variety of brands including Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, Calypso St. Barth, Carhartt, David Yurman, Dr Martens, James Perse, Jeni's Splendid, Jonathan Adler, L’Occitane, Paper Source, Rudy’s Barbershop, Steven Alan, Theory and TOMS. Rick represented landlords in consulting on new and reimagined retail projects along with merchandising existing shopping districts and centers.

    Previous to those efforts, Rick was President & CEO of Robeks Juice, where he evolved a small company-owned concept with stores in the Los Angeles area into a viable brand and franchise chain expanding in over 30 major metropolitan areas across the United States.

    Prior to that Rick was Director of Store Development at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Area Real Estate Manager at Blockbuster and a retail Commercial Broker at CBRE.

    Rick is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI), and has been a guest speaker for both organizations. Rick is a licensed California real estate broker and a graduate of UCLA, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
